TSHWANE VOLLEYBALL UNION

Tshwane is in the northern part of Gauteng and is affiliated to Gauteng Volleyball Union along with three other recognized regions. Our region consists of 4 education districts with over 600 schools and 4 universities as well as eight registered professional senior clubs. There have been few executive committees since the first Tshwane Volleyball Union was established in the 1990's and there are lots of leaders from previous executive boards who became good  administrators, internationally qualified coaches, referees and athletes who represented South Africa in the world. The current executive committee has diverse expertise and it’s committed in ensuring that volleyball is uplifted to greater heights.  If you have a club in the region and want to participate in professional competitions, you should consider making your club a registered member of the Union.

Our mission statement is to identify the talent and potential from the region for the development of their skills and talent and furthermore, create opportunities for those athletes and officials who are passionate about volleyball to be certified as qualified coaches, umpires/ referees and sport administrators.
